What is the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic floor coatings?
Epoxy is a thick, color-rich resin that builds up impressive depth and chemical resistance, but cures slowly (24–48 hours) and can yellow in direct sunlight. Polyaspartic cures in just a few hours, stays UV-stable, and is more flexible and impact-tolerant. Many of our premium garage systems combine them — an epoxy basecoat for body and a polyaspartic topcoat for fast cure and UV protection.
Is polished concrete a good option for my home or business?
Absolutely. Polished concrete is your existing slab mechanically ground, densified with lithium silicate, and refined to a satin, semi-polished, or high-polish finish. There is no coating to peel or chip, and it has the lowest lifetime maintenance cost of any flooring system. It is an excellent choice for showrooms, lofts, retail spaces, restaurants, and warehouses.
Which flooring system is best for a residential garage?
For most homeowners, a polyaspartic or hybrid epoxy/polyaspartic flake system is the right call. It is hot-tire resistant, slip-textured, hides cracks and stains, and you can usually park on it the next day. We also offer pure epoxy and metallic systems if you want a different look.
Can you install flooring over an existing slab with stains, cracks, or moisture issues?
Yes. Almost every job we do is over an existing slab. Diamond grinding strips contaminants and opens the concrete profile, crack-chasing and patching repair surface damage, and moisture-vapor barrier primers handle slabs with elevated humidity. We test before we quote so you get the right system the first time.
What is the lifespan of a properly installed concrete floor coating?
Residential systems — garage epoxy, polyaspartic flake, basement coatings — typically last 15–25+ years with normal use. Commercial and industrial systems run 10–20 years depending on traffic, chemical exposure, and impact. Polished concrete and sealed concrete, when re-densified periodically, can last the life of the slab.
Do you offer commercial and industrial flooring?
Yes. We install MIL-spec epoxy, urethane cement, ESD/anti-static coatings, USDA-compliant systems for food and beverage facilities, and high-build coatings for warehouses, hangars, manufacturing, and showrooms. We work nights and weekends to keep your operation running.
